Dr. Nima Mirtorabi, Medical Director
Dr. Nima Mirtorabi received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Western Ontario graduating in 2001. He then pursued further studies at the University of Sydney, Australia obtaining his MD in 2005. He then completed a two year Hospital residency training program which included stents in Outback, Australia, serving rural communities in need. He returned to Canada to complete his Family Medicine training at the University of Toronto, Mount Sinai Hospital and received his CCFP in 2009 and was awarded the prestigious Max Carson Award of Excellence in Patient Care. Since 2009 he has been serving the community of Stouffville as a family physician, working in the ER at Markham-Stouffville/Uxbridge Hospital and serving Bloomington Nursing home as a staff physician. He is a faculty member at the University of Toronto Family Medicine department, Supervising family physicians in training, as well as, clinical work with undergraduate medical students. His passion and dedication for patient care has taken him abroad, volunteering his services in Ghana. He is currently on staff at Markham-Stouffville Hospital and continues to hold a medical certification with the Australian medical board.
He is passionate about family medicine and dedicated to providing the best quality care for his patients and the community.

Dr. Hunaina Mirza, Family Physician
Dr. Hunaina Mirza is an internationally trained doctor. She graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi Pakistan in 2002 with a medical degree. She then moved to the United Kingdom in 2005 and completed a four year training program in surgery. Her training took her all over the United Kingdom at some of the top hospitals in the country. She then moved to Canada and started residency training at the University of Toronto. She completed her training at Mount Sinai Hospital and received certification in family medicine in 2013. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of family medicine especially performing small office-based procedures. Her interests outside of medicine include traveling and spending time with her children.
Dr. Annie Hadi, Family Physician
Dr. Annie Hadi received her Bachelors of Science (with Honours) in Psychology from York University in 2006. She then went to Saba University School of Medicine and obtained her medical degree in 2011. She completed her last 2 years of medical school in the United States mostly in Michigan and Cleveland at some of the top hospitals in the country. She then returned to Canada to complete her residency training at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Hospital and received her family practice certification in 2015. She has a special interest in care of the elderly and pediatrics however, she enjoys practicing a very broad scope of family medicine. Her approach is holistic and evidence-based and she likes to incorporate a variety of treatment modalities into her treatment plans. She stays current with the latest in medicine by taking additional courses at the University of Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two daughters.
Dr. Maryam Farhan, Family Physician
Dr. Maryam Farhan is an International Medical Graduate (IMG). She started her career in Canada by working in clinical research at The Hospital for Sick Children. The focus of her work was patients with sudden cardiac death syndromes. She has published her work in various journals. She also volunteered for Canadian SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia death Syndrome) Foundation helping create awareness about rare cardiac disorders. She completed her residency training at the University of Toronto, Mount Sinai Hospital and received her family practice certification in 2016. She believes in and practices evidence-based medicine with a focus on preventative and comprehensive care. As a family physician, she likes the diversity and has a broad scope of interest. She enjoys caring for young patients to chronic disease management in older adults. She also provides early prenatal care to low risk pregnancies. She likes educating her patient, helping them understand the disease process and highly encourages them to participate in their own care. She likes keeping herself up to date with recent treatment modalities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
